Everything you need to use GNOM
GNOM is a reserve-currency DAO on BNB Smart Chain. Rather than pegging to a dollar, every GNOM is backed by a basket of assets in the protocol treasury — a hard floor under its value. This guide covers the whole app and the mechanics behind it.
Overview
The protocol runs on one loop. Bonds bring assets into the treasury and grow the backing behind every token. Staking distributes newly minted GNOM to holders as auto-compounding rebases. A DEX (PancakeSwap V2) provides the market those two revolve around. Three actions — stake, bond, and optionally provide liquidity — are all you need.
- Reserve-backed. Every GNOM is backed by real assets in the treasury. The backing per token is its hard floor — the protocol can always buy GNOM back down to it.
- Stake to compound. Stake GNOM for sGNOM and earn auto-compounding rebases every epoch. Your balance grows on its own; the APY is what that compounds to over a year.
- Bond for a discount. Sell assets to the treasury for GNOM at a discount that vests over a few days. Bonding is what grows the backing.
Quick start
- 1Connect a wallet. Use Connect Wallet (top-right). MetaMask, WalletConnect and other common wallets are supported.
- 2Switch to BNB Smart Chain. The app targets chain 56. Your wallet will prompt you to switch networks if you're elsewhere.
- 3Fund your wallet. You'll need BNB for gas plus some GNOM or USDT to interact with.
- 4Explore. Head to Stake to start earning rebases, or Bond to buy GNOM at a discount.
Using the app

Staking & rebases
- Stake GNOM → sGNOM. Staking mints sGNOM 1:1. sGNOM is a rebasing token — its balance grows automatically each epoch as the protocol distributes new GNOM to stakers.
- Warmup. New stakes may pass through a short warmup period before sGNOM is claimable (zero on many deployments). If a warmup is set, claim your sGNOM once the warmup epochs have passed.
- Rebase rate vs APY. The rebase rate is the percentage your balance grows each epoch; APY is that compounded over a year. The Next Rebase countdown shows time until the next distribution.
- Unstake anytime. Redeem sGNOM back to GNOM 1:1 whenever you like — there's no lockup once it has cleared warmup.
Bonding
- Discounted GNOM, vested. A bond sells an asset to the treasury in exchange for GNOM at a discount to market, delivered over a vesting term.
- Two bond types. Reserve bonds (e.g. USDT, valued at par) and liquidity bonds (GNOM-USDT LP, valued at risk-free value).
- Claim as it vests. After depositing, your GNOM vests linearly. Redeem the vested portion at any time — the rest keeps vesting. Choose Claim or Claim & Stake to auto-stake the payout.
- ROI & capacity. The ROI shown is the bond's discount versus the current market price; capacity shows how full the bond is. Bonds have a maximum size.
Swap & liquidity
- Swap on PancakeSwap. Swaps route GNOM ↔ USDT/WBNB through PancakeSwap V2, with a 0.25% fee.
- Provide liquidity. Add liquidity to a pool to earn a share of swap fees; you receive LP tokens representing your position. Remove liquidity to withdraw your share plus accrued fees.
- LP as bond collateral. The GNOM-USDT LP token is also accepted as bond collateral — see Bond. Expect slippage on thin pools.
Referrals
- A 10-level reward graph. Every wallet can mint one permanent 8-character invite code (Referral page → Create invite code, or automatically when you bind a referrer). Your invites are level 1, their invites level 2, and so on down to level 10.
- Earn on your downline's rewards. When anyone in your downline earns a staking rebase, a fixed cut is minted to you from the treasury: L1 10%, L2 5%, L3 3%, tapering to L10 0.1% — up to 22.5% total across the chain. The staker keeps 100% of their own reward; your bonus is minted on top.
- Settle, then claim. Rewards accrue continuously and land in your claimable balance when a downline member stakes or unstakes (or when you poke them from the rewards card). Claim to mint your GNOM. While active-upline is on you must hold a live stake to earn — an unstaked level is skipped, but deeper levels still earn.
- Share your link. Share /referral?code=… (or /stake?code=…). When someone opens it, the code is remembered in their browser; they bind it once on the Referral page.
- Bind once, before staking. Binding is one-time and permanent, and your upline is snapshotted then. Only rewards earned after binding count — so bind before you stake.
Dashboard metrics
How to read the numbers on the Dashboard.
- GNOM Price
- Spot price from the GNOM-USDT pool. Shows “—” when no price source is available.
- Market Cap
- Price × total GNOM supply.
- Total Value Staked
- Circulating sGNOM (all staked GNOM) valued at the market price.
- Current Index
- GNOM per sGNOM. It grows with every rebase — a running measure of how much a staker's position has compounded.
- Backing per GNOM
- Treasury risk-free value ÷ supply — the hard floor beneath the price.
- Premium
- How far the price sits above backing (price ÷ backing − 1).
- Runway
- Estimated days the treasury can sustain the current reward rate.
- Next Rebase
- Countdown to the next epoch's distribution.
